Exquisite Bodies by Ken Rinaldo and Amy Youngs is an interactive video-mobile focused on the natural and urban body of central Ohio is a commission from the COSI museum in Columbus, Ohio, and is now a part of their permanent collection. (Columbus Museum of Science and Industry).
We were interested in looking at flora and fauna of central Ohio and mixing this up in a dynamic and constantly changing structure designed to show the interconnections between our urban landscape’s natural and technological aspects.
Below is an interactive table that allows the viewer to place different materials on a tabletop microscope and see them projected onto the screen.
